Welcome to Broward County

Broward county is an exciting and ever changing area. Often called the Venice of America our waterways are a boater's paradise. Say bon voyage to passengers departing on board mega cruiseships at Port Everglades, a major cruise port of more than two dozen multi-day cruise ships and naval vessels sailing from 10 modern cruise terminals.
Sneak a peek at the mega yachts on the docks of Pier 66 and Bahia Mar.

We are also the gateway to the Everglades National Park, the only subtropical preserve in North America. It contains both temperate and tropical plant communities, including sawgrass prairies, mangrove and cypress swamps, as well as marine and estuarine environments. The park is known for its rich bird life. It is also the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles exist side by side. Everglades National Park has been designated a World Heritage Site, an International Biosphere Reserve, and a Wetland of International Importance.
Enjoy a day of fun in the sun and swimming in the Atlantic on one of Greater Fort Lauderdale's 23 miles of beautiful beaches. Stroll, jog, or rollerblade along the newly renovated, brick-lined Beachfront promenade.

Watch the sunrise on beautiful Deerfield Beach, Broward County's cove-like beach. Dive and snorkel from shore along Lauderdale-By-The-Sea's three-tiered reef system.
